Ginger is known for its medicinal values that date back thousands of years, it’s been used for healing many people over its time. As a widely cultivated herb, ginger is used in various forms such as foods, drinks, and beauty products all across the world. Recently there has been some interest in ginger root for the use in joint problems as well.
Ginger has been a well researched herb that has significant evidence confirming that it work. With a long list of uses for ginger I could go on for days, so below I have put together a list of my top 5 ginger root uses.

Ginger has high fiber content which increases gastrointestinal motility, and improves digestion by increasing pH levels of the stomach stimulating digestive enzymes. Ginger can speed up calorie burning sans exercise by heating the body temperature, enhancing the thermic effect on food it makes your body have the sensation of being full. According to a 2012 study, “ginger showed enhanced thermogenesis and reduced feelings of hunger with ginger consumption”.
